Thursday 4/2, The Whole Band Trio at 6 PM

The Whole Band is a mix of some of the Sarasota, FL area’s most talented musicians.  They are quickly gathering a large local fan base and have just released their second CD, the Whole Band: Roll With It. Their live show is something to behold, with an amazing blend of original music and mind blowing covers that showcase the exceptional musicality of the Whole Band. Their roots are wide, weaving in americana, blues, rock, bluegrass, country and R&B.  With super tight harmonies, poignant original lyrics and a groove all of their own, they leave listeners with smiles in their hearts!  

Lead singer/guitarist-Callie Chappell is an award-winning songwriter with a soulful, soaring voice that goes right to the heart. Callie can add keyboards and harmonica to the mix! Also, on super smooth lead vocals and adding incredible guitar skills and songwriting is Kevin Thompson. Kevin brings along a mandolin and has reworked some old familiar rock songs into crazy bluegrass covers. 

Dave Peirce is a world-class pedal steel player and can play any style the band throws at him. Master of the groove, JP Coley - a true Sarasota treasure, plays stand up bass and electric bass. Finally, keeping it all together is the very much in demand and versatile Steve Apostoli on drums and cajon.  Bandmate, friend and guitarist like none other, Zack Yoder, sadly passed away on July 5, 2024.
